Since its inception in 1868, the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge (MWPHGL) of South Carolina, a Free & Accepted Masons fraternity, has been a beacon of transformative influence within their communities. This faith-based organization boasts a storied history, marked by significant contributions to the social fabric of African American life. Foremost among their achievements has been laying the foundational pillars for African American citizenship, education, and overall betterment of living conditions for Black communities.
On Sunday, December 17, 2023, IAAM will host members of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of South Carolina during their 155th Annual Session at the Embassy Suites Charleston Convention Center. Following service attendance at Mother Emanuel AME Church, members will march from the church to the International African American Museum at the conclusion of the service.
All are welcome to be a part of this momentous event, taking place in the West Yard of our African Ancestors Memorial Garden.
