VENDOR SHOWCASE APPLICATION

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, May 1, 2024

Thank you for your interest in submitting an application for consideration to join the International African American Museum’s (IAAM) 2024 Vendor Showcase. Held annually, the Vendor Showcase will seek out and highlight some of the many amazing vendors from throughout our community.

Each year, the museum will solicit and review applications before selecting 10 Vendors that will receive access to training on best practices in further elevating one’s brand and business before being invited to join the IAAM Family through their goods being sold within the IAAM Gift Shop. In addition to the museum, our goal is to offer an experience that supports vendors in advancing their businesses to the next level.

The program aims to achieve 3 Goals:

 

  • Provide training, knowledge, resources, and skills for vendors of various stages (beginner, intermediate, accomplished) to continue to grow and elevate their operations and brand.
  • Create opportunities for vendors to connect to/network amongst other vendors throughout the community.
  • Educate program participants on best practices/requirements necessary to participate at the IAAM as a Gift Shop Vendor.

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Application Period: March 1, 2024, to May 1, 2024
  • Committee Review & Selection: May 6, 2024, to June 3, 2024
  • Notice of Finalists: June 5, 2024
  • Accelerator Courses: July 2024 to September 2024
