  • IAAM in the Media

The International African American Museum’s building was designed by Pei Cobb Freed in collaboration with Moody Nolan, with the late Henry Cobb leading the design team. The resulting building is a one-story rectangular structure elevated 13 feet above the ground on 18 circular columns. The accompanying photographs showcase the building’s elevated position, the carefully shaped landscape, and the functionality of the exhibition spaces.
