Arthur . Games . Family History Fun PBS Kids

Do you ever wish you had gathered more of your family’s history when you were young? Would you like to inspire a love of family history in your family’s young ones, but not sure how to get them interested? PBS Kids’ Family Fun With Arthur Game is a simple and fun way to introduce kids to gathering family oral history.

Kids can sit down with a family member they want to interview, then click Go to start. As they follow along in the game, they are creating a downloadable record of the oral history interview.

Arthur Who Are You Going to Interview

The downloadable record is easy to create – kids just type in who they are going to interview, then can add a picture of the interviewee, if they would like to (pictures are never retained by PBS Kids).

Arthur Add a Picture

Next, there is a grid of questions for kids to ask the person they are interviewing.

Arthur Choose a Question to Ask

The interviewee can type their answers into the space provided.
