African American genealogy research can be particularly challenging due to several factors. This session presents methods and strategies and a number of resources available to those interested in researching their African American ancestry.

The resources covered include online databases, historical societies, genealogy libraries, and local archives. Panelists: Darius Brown, Lyle Gibson, Whitney Day, Dr. Pernessa Seele & Tendaji Bailey.
