Creative Gathering: A Space For Fellowship And Reflection

Creative Gathering is an exhibition of art and objects curated from the permanent collection of the International African American Museum. This month-long exhibition provides our community with a rare look into the museum's holdings, which depicts the curatorial ethos. The exhibition further draws cultural and thematic parallels from throughout the black diaspora, while inviting visitors to rest and reflect on their museum visit. Creative Gathering is intentionally an airy, open space, designed to foster museum programming and public events as well as ease of movement for patrons.
