Martina M. Morale serves as the International African American Museum’s Assistant Curator.
Prior to joining the IAAM Team, Morale served as Exhibition Assistant for Cyclorama: The Big Picture and Locomotion: Railroads and the Making of Atlanta exhibitionsat the Atlanta History Center. She served as Curator of the West Georgia Textile Heritage Trail at the University of West Georgia Center for Public History and spent three years teaching United States History and Humanities at the community college level in Houston, Texas.
Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, Martina has lived all over the United States. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Benedict College, a Master of Liberal Arts Degree with a concentration in History from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX and certificates in Public History and Museum Studies at the University of West Georgia.
