It’s been a long time coming, but we are coming to life at the International African American Museum! After years of planning, studying and strategizing, the project is entering a new phase. Before the first brick is laid for the building at Concord and Calhoun streets, here is the virtual museum, which you can access from your desk, laptop, smartphone or tablet.

At this time, the “museum” is at 284-A King Street at the College of Charleston’s Riley Center. It is a three-person office: Director John Fleming; Program Manager Felicia Sullivan Easterlin, and Office Manager/Jill of all Trades Sharon Scott.

Please feel free to comment on what you see here and what you would like to see here. This is new to all of us, and we want to grow and remain relevant to the people of the Lowcountry.
