The International African American Museum (IAAM) invites you to join us on October 26, 2023, for an author talk with Dr. Edward Lee Johnson, Sr. to discuss his book, The Autopsy of Slavery & the Bible. The discussion will focus on Dr. Johnson’s exploration of “chattel slavery” and the Bible.

Dr. Johnson will share the trauma associated with slavery and how it has created a racial divide that disrupts how today’s society. He will share his views on a path forward that will aid in creating a more perfect union.
