Get ready for an unforgettable summer at IAAM’s first annual Summer Camp! Hosted by our Education Department, each week offers a vibrant exploration of African American history and culture. Dive into exciting themes like Foodways, Arts and Music, Careers and Community, and much more.

Under the guidance of our knowledgeable IAAM Education Staff, campers will embark on enriching nature walks through the African Ancestors Memorial Garden, engage in interactive STEM activities, and take personalized tours of the museum. Plus, they’ll have the chance to develop their creativity with a variety of arts and crafts, storytelling sessions, dance routines, and musical fun.
