Jammin Journeys Feat. Harmony & Heritage

  • Program

Jammin Journeys is an exciting cultural experience that immerses participants in the vibrant rhythms of the African diaspora. Perfect for youth and families, this program features live performances and engaging discussions led by talented artists, highlighting the history and significance of various musical genres. Celebrating music as a universal language, Jammin Journeys inspires creativity and connections while exploring global music diversity.

In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, Jammin Journeys is thrilled to collaborate with Larry Yazzie of Native Pride Productions for a special workshop and performance. This unique program promises to showcase the shared narratives and artistic expressions of Native American and African diasporic cultures. Prepare to be enchanted and inspired as we come together to bridge cultural divides, deepen understanding, and enjoy a live performance that speaks to the heart and soul of these vibrant traditions. This partnership represents a joyful exploration of cultural intersections, offering a dynamic experience that celebrates our shared heritage through the power of music.

This program is made possible through the generous support of the Hugh & Anne Dobson Donor Advised Fund in honor of Congressman James E. Clyburn.
