Get ready for a summer of joy, creativity, and exploration at the International African American Museum! Our 2025 Summer Camp, “Full Op Wid Joy,” runs from June 23 – July 18 and offers weekly themed experiences inspired by the Gullah Geechee tradition of resilience and well-being.
Camp Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 4 PM
Location: IAAM, 14 Wharfside Street, Charleston, SC
Cost: $350/week (discounts & scholarships available)

June 23 – 27: Jumpin’ for Joy – A week of movement, sports, and games that celebrate the connection between health, history, and joy. June 30 – July 4: Joy, Joy in My Soul – A creative arts experience featuring music, theater, dance, and storytelling. July 7 – 11: In Da Kitchen – No-bake cooking fun exploring Black foodways and healthy eating. July 14 – 18: #WeOutside – Outdoor adventures, gardening, and nature-based crafts.
