Her Voice, Our Story

As we celebrate March as Women’s History Month, the IAAM invites youth and families from across the city to join us every Tuesday in the museum’s African Ancestral Memorial Garden as we read and share stories on some of the many amazing women who make up American history. Participants will learn about the lives and legacies of African American women and some of the stories and legends that inspired them.
