Join us in commemorating the Emancipation Proclamation with by participating in the Emancipation Parade! The International African American Museum is proud to have a float in the procession and host an engaging booth at Gadsdenboro Park afterwards. We are honored to have our esteemed President & CEO, Dr. Tonya Matthews, as a featured speaker. The event promises a rich tapestry of entertainment, a variety of food trucks, and much more. The parade will commence at Burke High School and culminate at Gadsdenboro Park, right in front of the museum. This promises to be a day of reflection, celebration, and community spirit.
