Miss Alveretta B. Pulley, of Pilot, N. C., the daughter of Mr. John Pulley and adopted daughter of Mr. Allen Thomas, departed this life on the 26th inst., at the age of seventeen years. Her life was that of a Christian. She was loved by all who knew her, and her last words were that she was willing and ready to go.
Whereas, God has blessed and taken from our midst the beloved one. Therefore be it.
She was a zealous worker of the Sunday School, and leaves behind her many friends to mourn her. Laura E. Heartsfield.
