Mr. Hines Herndon, of Henderson, passed through the city this week en route to Goldsboro, whither he was going after the body of Mrs. Betsy Johnson, who died at the Eastern Hospital there on Wednesday of last week, in her 85th year. Mrs. Johnson was the grandmother of Mrs. Lizzie J. Sanders.
