The IAAM’s Center for Family History hosted an enlightening podcast featuring distinguished panelists who talked about the groundbreaking initiative, 10 Million Names.

This collaborative project is dedicated to recovering and documenting the names of the estimated 10 million men, women, and children of African descent who were enslaved in pre- and post-colonial America, spanning from the 1500s to 1865.

Lindsay Fulton is a nationally recognized professional genealogist and lecturer who joined American Ancestors/NEHGS in 2012. She leads the Research and Library Services team as Vice President, as well as the research team working on 10 Million Names.
