Harris, Richard, Obituary, 1897, Raleigh, NC Gazette

We regret to have again to record the death of another one cf Mr. W. H. Harris’s sons. Little Richard, his son, departed this life last Tuesday night, just one month and three days after big brother Oliver’s death. We sincerely condole with the family of the deceased
on the dispensation with which it has phased Divine Providence to afflict them, and commend them for consolation to Him, who orders all things for the best, and whose chastisements are meant in mercy.
